Eden Nature Park & Resort is a paradise you can visit in Davao City. It is located 3,000 feet above sea level that is why you’ll feel a cool, gentle breeze touching your face while walking around this place. Acrophobiacs, beware! Kidding! This place is covered with trees and plants which is largely dominated by pine trees. It’s like being in Baguio but with more pine trees, more birds in the aviary, and an affordable giant lunch buffet.

Eden Nature Park & Resort is one of the best escapes out of the hustle and bustle of the city. Its cool and fresh air will make you want to abandon any city you are living in to settle in this place. I actually had thoughts of moving out of Manila and moving in Davao City. Eden offers a way for you to experience nature, adventure, leisure, romance, and great food. The last one is my most favorite experience but I think this awesome couple experienced more romance.

On the other hand, the one experience that I’ll never forget in Eden is when I conquered my fear of..well, there is nothing that I really fear. I just didn’t want to ride the Indiana Jones swing at first.

You can get in touch with nature by trekking around Eden. There are designated trails marked for the purpose of this activity. Unfortunately, we didn’t have much time to do some trekking. We needed to get back to the airport to catch our flight. If you plan to go trekking when in Eden, I recommend you allocate one whole day for this place and don’t go there on the day of your flight.

Another recreational activity you can do in Eden is the Skyrider. For Php150, you can take a 200-meter long zipline ride 20 meters up high in the air. We didn’t try this one out since we already did a zipline ride in Zip City.

The high point of our stay in Eden is the lunch buffet. The buffet meal is complete from salads to desserts. Their fresh veggie salad bar came from their hydrophonics garden of lettuce and other herbs. They also give you a choice of chicken, fish, or beef, or you can try them all. You can also choose between rice or pasta, or you can try both too.
