Free Tempura Ice Cream at Ramen Bar
Budget : ~Php300
Duration : 1-2 hours
Bummers : small appetite
You’ve never been to Ramen Bar, of course, if you didn’t have a bowl of Ramen..
It was the first day of December and the cool, Christmasy breeze lead me to the doors of Ramen Bar in Eastwood Mall, Eastwood City. I was feeling a little chilly that night (and yes, I think I am catching the dreaded cold virus) so I decided to comfort myself with a bowl of hearty Ramen. It was also reassuring to know that Ramen bar was serving unlimited cups of free house tea. I was already getting better knowing I could gulp down all these warmth from this homey resto.
Me and my friends ordered different bowls of Ramen. I had the R.B.S. #1 because it was the one that had everything on it – pork, fish, egg, and veggies. My friend had Sapporo Miso Ramen because she was curious what miso soup was. While my other friend had Spicy Karaage Ramen since he wanted something “hot”. Each of these Ramen is priced between Php280 to Php320. You might think that it is quite pricey for a bowl of warmth but you’ll be amazed how BIG their servings were. It was like experiencing overflowing amount of hugs to keep you warm. None of us were able to finish our Ramen.
When we were about to pay, one of their staff offered us free Tempura Ice Cream, if we use a Citibank Credit Card to pay for the food. Hesitant because I wasn’t feeling really well that time, we availed because it was something that we shouldn’t miss. C’mon, how many places can you order Tempura Ice Cream, right? Php120 saved!
Mamon (Magnetic Monkey) even had a photo-op with the Tempura Ice Cream. I think he likes the free stuff.
Spread some awesome..ness..
