Outside Abuelos Cafe
The Tarlac City Plazuela has been redesigned and renovated to make it more presentable and to invite more people go see this place. Found in one corner of the plazuela is the location where you can get a great tasting cup of coffee that comes for a very cheap price compared to commercial coffee shops. Abuelos Cafe is probably my new chill place when I am in my hometown. By the way, Abuelos is Spanish for grandparents because this cafe is located in the area created specially for grandparents in the plazuela.
Abuelos Cafe has a homey ambiance in its indoor area. Yet, it’s outdoor area is also very relaxing especially if you spend some time there during the night.

For a final bill of ~Php400, me and my family were able to enjoy one large smoothie, one large frappe, three large lattes, and four chocolate cupcakes.
The Strawberry Banana Smoothie they served us was so good, you can say it can tasted like the one available from commercial coffee houses.

Pros: Coffee at Abuelos is comparable to those of well-known shops.I love their iced cafe mocha and the hubby loves the frappe version.
Cons: The male staff don’t look professional at all, and they aren’t coordinated well with the cook where meal orders are taken. I asked to pack the dessert I wasn’t able to finish but they didn’t have any small plastic bag or whatever to put it in.
