More food and More drinks at Momo Cafe..
Momo Cafe is a chic resto that is easy to spot in Eastwood Mall. It is one of the few restos or maybe the only one I’ve seen with purple, yellow, and gray motif. This modern appearance makes it seem so sophisticated that at times, I doubt if I can afford eating in this cafe.
This resto serves a fusion of flavors that are served in enormous proportions. Yes, Momo Cafe literally provides “MOre food and MOre drinks” to its customers. If you plan to visit this place, make sure to tag some friends along so there will be no leftovers and you can be able to taste many of their specialities like I did. Thanks to Leya, Glen, Nadz, Cayo, and Isabel!
Aside from being able to eat different dishes, you get to see your friends argue before eating. Peace!
For starters, Momo gave us complimentary toasted bread and cheese dip. The cheese dip tasted good. I think there is some strong pimiento flavor in there.
We shared a bountiful feast of pasta, pizza, chicken, and giant meatballs. We ordered Baked Mac, Melted Four Cheese Pizza, Messy Mouth Wings, and “Very Big” Swedish Meatballs. Yeah, it was literally “big”.
Momo’s Baked Mac is quite different from the ones I used to have, in terms of presentation. The macaroni was topped with melted cheese and ground herbs. At first look, it isn’t that appetizing because who wants any green paste topped on their food right? With regards to taste, it was ok, nothing extraordinary there. Even the green stuff on top of it doesn’t have any strong flavor.
The Melted Four Cheese Pizza was superb. I really love it when the taste of blue cheese kicks in.
Momo’s Messy Mouth Wings is also known as the Barbecue Wings of Fire. It’s taste is quite overwhelming but it’s not very spicy. I can only have one piece tops and after that, I’d crave for other flavors to balance the barbecue taste.
The biggest meatballs I ever seen was from Momo. The “Very Big” Swedish Meatball is filling and I was NOT even able to finish one whole meatball. The meatball has a distinct curry-like taste. I didn’t know curry was a staple of Sweden.
A recommended beverage that you should try at Momo is their Banana Chocolate Caramel Smoothie. This beverage is a drink and a dessert in one.
Though we came in as a large group, we still struggled to eat everything on the table. A lot’s left even after pushing ourselves to the limit. I guess we’ll have these to go.
We really took advantage of eating at Momo. We used Citibank credit card to pay for our bill and we got a cupcake freebie. We divided it into six so everyone got a sweet treat.
And who uses chocnut as paperweight? Only Momo.
Spread some awesome..ness.. ![]()
