Nomnom Rating: 5/5
Savory Chinese dishes that are light on the budget at Yang Chow..
If you want to eat delicious Chinese food at a reasonable price, Yang Chow is the right place to go to. This thrifty Chinese dimsum and tea house is locate at the ground floor of Shopwise in Libis Quezon City.
Lunch and dinner are the jam-packed schedules in this resto. If you go around these times, expect to wait for you to be seated because it is most likely that the resto is full. Furthermore, since there are lots of customers, you might also need to wait before your food can be served because they only cook it when you order it.
Anyway, while you are waiting, you can ask for their house tea. The tea is free.
For starters, you can get their most popular dimsum – hakao. Their hakao is cheaper compared to those that you can buy from high-end Chinese restaurants but the taste is the same. So, if you want to devour lots of hakao, Yang Chow is highly recommended.
To warm your tummy, you can get the White Chicken Noodle Soup. This soup is healthy and tasty at the same time.
Two of their bestsellers is the Mapo Tofu and Steamed Fish Fillet with Garlic. Both dishes are sumptuous and they melt in your mouth.
Since the name of the resto is Yang Chow, you should not miss getting their Yang Chow Fried Rice. Their fried rice is superb!
Spread some awesome..ness.. ![]()

yum! will try their hakao and steamed fish fillet next time. thanks for dropping by my blog! cheers

@leah
your crew is so rude and i’ll mannered, yesterday night me and my friends visit your place. we are the first who came in and asking if we can seat on the couch that they are about to clean because it is used already, suddenly there is new group of five came in and they did not grant our request and give the table for them.. there is no please or sorry that they give , just an authorization exact word given by your crew is ” dun ang table for 3 , jan nalang ung table for 5 five..” no consideration, we can accept sana if they give apologetic response but no,, you treat your client as a baggage.. anu kami bagahe isasalasan lang kung saan kasya.. pagod na pagod pa kami from work.. and then babastusin nyo lang kami.. di kami kumain sa inis umalis n kami at di ng-oder.. masarap sana pagkain nyo pero mga tao nyo walang modo.. i agree with this LEAH na naunang nagcomment.. panira kayo ng gabi..
Was there a while ago. The waitress said they are closed already. It was 7:23PM. When I saw the sign outside, it says store closes at 8PM and so I went back to ask if I could still order take-out. The waitress reiterated they will be closed at 8PM and last order is at 7:30PM. I said, it’s only 7:25PM. I asked if she could try to convince the manager to let me order. The manager looked very irritated. Poor service, I say.
Is the fat male supervisor still at Yang Chow Eton Centris? That supervisor needs to be taught a lesson in customer service. While he was still the supervisor at the Libis branch he’d talk to customers in his loud voice and in a very rude way. Nakikipagtalo pa. And all we were asking was why we (group of three) couldn’t sit at the booth area (sits 4 people – 6 if you mind being sandwiched together) while the place wasn’t exactly full. This place has the potential because of the good food they serve. But please change your staff. People get treated better in Government offices.
