Satisfy your sweet tooth with Cukay’s cakes and pastries..
I frequently go to Eastwood City and one of the activities held here that I enjoy visiting the most is the weekend market. I am fond of buying different products from this weekend market mainly because almost all of their offerings are homemade.
Among the food finds in the weekend market that I usually buy are breads and pastries. Due to my frequent visit, I discovered this new pastry store that sells different cakes and sweets that are to die for – Cukay’s. This new pastry shop is definitely on top of my favorites list.
Cukay’s bestseller is their Red Velvet Cake. This dark red, butter creamy cake is something that you shouldn’t miss when you visit Eastwood City’s weekend market.
But since I am a chocolate fanatic, their Chocolate Caramel Cake is my personal favorite. I prefer moist and creamy chocolate cakes, and I can say that among all cakes that I have tasted, Cukay’s is the moistest, creamiest, and chocolatiest of all!
My second favorite cake is the Brazo de Mercedes. Cukay’s Brazo de Yema exceeds my standards in terms of taste and texture. For health conscious individuals, Cukay’s have their own version of Sugar-Free Brazo. Curious that I am, I asked them what they use to make it sweet if they aren’t using sugar. They said “Splenda!”
Other sweet treats from Cukay’s that I have yet to try are the Banana Pie, Cookies, Cupcakes, Lemon Torte Cake, and Macaroons. I will hunt down Cukay’s for these items.
Cukay’s pastry booth can also be found during the weekends at Rockwell and Podium. I hope they open up a permanent store soon!
Spread some awesome..ness..
