Freska

Freska

If you want to have a taste of Ilonggo food and fresh seafood, Freska is a great destination in the metro. At first, I was a little hesitant to try it because I thought the food might not be that good but I was wrong. If your taste buds are craving for some homecooked meal without the need to shed out a lot of cash, visit Freska.Freska Menu

Freska offers different Pinoy homecooked-style dishes and they claim to specialize on seafood and Inasal. If you are already fed up eating the same fastfood meal then giving Freska a try will be a good change to take.

When we went to Freska, we tried Sinigang na Ulo ng Salmon (Salmon Head in Tamarind Stew), Pork Sisig, and Daing na Bangus.

Sinigang na Ulo ng Salmon

Sinigang na Ulo ng Salmon

Their Sinigang na Ulo ng Salmon is one of the best sinigang na ulo-ulo that I have ever tried. The meat of the fish tasted so fresh.

Pork Sisig

Pork Sisig

Their Pork Sisig is undoubtedly tasty. It is served with mayonnaise on the side which you can mix into the sizzling dish as you please. The combination of sisig and mayo is heavenly.

Their Daing na Bangus is also good. It’s just like how a perfect daing should be.

This is a set meal for two that we got from Freska but three people can share it and still feel satisfied. Actually, only two cups of rice are included so we had to order an extra serving. I believe it costs less than Php500 for the entire set. We were luckier that we had coupons to cut down the bill in half.

Spread some awesome..ness.. :D
