Pasto

Pasto

I have tried Pasto before however it was a few years back and I wasn’t blogging yet by then. So, I tried it out again to make myself remember how good it tasted. Pasto is an Italian cafe and dessert bar located along Eastwood City Walk 1. It is popular for serving Italian dishes that are really good but comes with an attractive price.

When you visit Pasto, its ambiance will certainly enhance your appetite. It is embellished with the red color everywhere which is I guess the color that is used in most restaurants to make diners feel cozier and hungrier. :)

Condiments

We got the Pollo Cremoso, Piccata, and Formaggi. And since it’s buy one, take one on cocktails, we sampled their very own concoction – the Pastorita (Php165). It’s Pasto’s own blend of margarita.

Pollo Cremoso (Php225) is simply cream-based chicken penne pasta in layman’s term. It is topped with sun-dried tomatoes and mushrooms. Oh, sun-dried tomatoes are really good!

Piccata (Php335) is pan-fried fish fillet topped with lemon-caper sauce and served with rice pilaf on the side. It’s a little tangy. Lemon and fish, c’mon.. Really loved it. :)

Formaggi (Php255) or the four-cheese pizza. It’s never out of my to-order list especially when I’m going to an Italian restaurant. This pizza has feta, ricotta, mozzarella and Parmesan – the awesome foursome of cheeses.
