InfiniTea Pearl Milk Tea in Maginhawa St., Quezon City
Budget : Php45-100 per milk tea
Duration : ~1 hour
Bummers : inconsistent taste, small pearls
Nomnom Rating : 3/5
The milk tea craze continues. Maginhawa St. near UP Diliman is now starting to get filled with lots of new milk tea shops. InfiniTea Pearl Milk Tea is another addition in the long line of milk tea shops in this street. We had to try it out to see if it is good. I think this tea shop is just new. I also noticed that it had no cash register yet and they have to write down your order in a notebook probably as part of their inventory.
InfiniTea has a small tea shop in Maginhawa St. When we came there, it was filled with customers but luckily the chairs outside the shop were available. We sat there but after a while, the customers left so we transferred inside.
It smelled good inside the shop. It’s like the sweet scent of prepared tapioca pearls and I guess the fresh wheatgrass.
InfiniTea offers a wide range of options when it comes to milk tea, flavored tea, and basic tea. It also has lots of add ons like coffee jelly, black gulaman, pearl, nata de coco, red beans, aloe vera, and egg/taro/chocolate pudding.
We ordered one Okinawa Milk Tea (Php80) and two Wintermelon Milk Teas (Php80 each). It was quite disappointing because the two Wintermelon Milk Teas that we ordered tasted different from each other. One is a bit bland while the other one is a bit strong. I guess since they are new, they are still working out on the consistency of their teas. I’d probably give it time before I go back there. Maybe next time the milk teas will be more consistent.
Spread some awesome..ness..
