Hungry. That’s how I felt after alighting our plane at Changi Airport in Singapore. We tried to search for the nearest food joint we can. We noticed Toast Box in one corner of the airport. We were searching for a McDonald’s or any fastfood store since we were not familiar with any Singaporean food spot but Toast Box caught our eyes. (Actually, we found a McDonald’s after eating in Toast Box. It was on the opposite side of Toast Box.)

Nadine, my new beer buddy, has been craving to try Draft for quite some time. The first time we tried checking out Draft, we were not able to do so. There was a private event in the gastropub that night (and sadly, we weren’t invited). But this did not keep us from trying out this new place that offers imported beer on tap and large-sized European comfort food. After two weeks since the first try, we went again.

We were able to get in this time. But, since it was a Friday, a lot of people have drinking plans. Draft was packed and we had to wait for about two hours to get a booth for six awesome people. We stood outside the bar, under the drizzle, but it was so worth it.
