Nuvali Evoliving

With traffic-less roads on a Sunday and a car on full tank, we took a quick road trip to Nuvali Evoliving in Santa Rosa, Laguna to have a breath of fresh air. We were really planning to go to Tagaytay that day but a friend of mine suggested that we go to Nuvali instead. It’s nearer and the place brings you closer to nature with just a 40-minute drive from the metro.

Nuvali Evoliving is currently being developed by Ayala Land as an eco-friendly residential community. I think they are turning it into something like a Forbes Park of the South.

There are several activities you can do in Nuvali. You can feed their large school of Koi fish. You can take a 20-minute boat ride on the man-made lake. You can do a little bird watching. You can jog around it. Or you can bring your bike and ride from Nuvali to Tagaytay and back. Or maybe, just ride around Nuvali. The place is quite big anyway.

If you get hungry, Nuvali has many restaurants in one area called Solenad. Most of the restaurants you can find here can mostly be found in high-end malls in the metro. Some of the restaurants that I remember finding in Solenad are Claw Daddy, Uncle Cheffy, David’s Tea House, Pig Out, and Brothers Burger. There is also a Starbucks in Solenad.

Christmas Tree of Tires

The air in Nuvali is not only fresh, it is also very Christmas-y. When we went to the place, they have this Christmas tree made of used tires at the center of Solenad. There was also a small bazaar in one of the parking lots near Solenad. I was lucky to get a “The Flash” shirt for only Php200.
