Suntec City and Night Safari in Singapore
Budget : ~Php1,000 for the Night Safari Entrance Pass
Duration : ~1 day (actually, 1 night)
Bummers : long walks, large crowds
Without an itinerary, we spent our first day in Singapore roaming around Suntec City. Luckily, we found a booth in Suntec City that sells tickets to the Night Safari. Since it was already late in the afternoon, we decided we just spend our first night meeting and greeting wild animals from the Night Safari.
Before riding the bus to the Night Safari, we checked out the Koi Garden and Fountain of Wealth in Suntec City.
I think I’ll be wealthy soon because I did the must-do at the Fountain of Wealth with all my heart. When this happens, free beer on me!
Got tired from walking around the Fountain of Wealth three times so we got our tea fix from A Gantea. Their teas are very refreshing!
Then, we headed to our bus which will drive us to Jurong for the Night Safari.
Jurong was a bit far from Suntec City. The sun was already out when we arrived for the Night Safari, which I think is just perfect.
To go around the safari, we rode a tram.
There are lots of wild animals that you can see at the Night Safari. It was a bit spooky at first because we were riding an open vehicle. With one mistake, you can be dinner. Good thing I had my handy-dandy camera with me to document the safari. Enjoy the pics! Err, I apologize if they are a bit dark…
See that water buffalo? That’s Philippines’ national animal, the kalabaw.
After the Night Safari, we had a chance to watch the show Creatures of the Night. Different wild animals showcased their talents. You should see it too if you happen to go to the Night Safari.
At the end of our trip to the Night Safari, we saw some fire dancing.
