David’s Tea House & Hot Pot in Solenad-Nuvali Sta. Rosa, Laguna
Budget : ~Php200 per dish
Duration : ~1-2 hours
Bummers : none
Nomnom Rating : 5/5
I have said this again and again, I am a huge fan of Chinese food. So, when we drove to Nuvali, I was hoping that we would eat at a Chinese restaurant. And hope didn’t fail me because we had lunch at David’s Tea House & Hot Pot.
David’s Tea House & Hot Pot has its main branch at China Town Ongpin. Therefore, this seems like this restaurant can live my standards for Chinese dishes. It did – especially the dim sums. I love their hakao (shrimp dumpling).
David’s Tea House & Hot Pot has set menu for four so we decided to go with that. We got the set menu #5. Then, we just had extra orders of 2 servings of hakao (shrimp dumpling) (Php90 each) and 1 serving of siomai (steamed dumpling)(Php75).
Set Menu #5 (Php1,100) consists of Yang Chow Fried Rice,
Taiwan Pechay with Garlic,
Fish Fillet with Corn Sauce,
Beef with Polonchay,
and Breaded Chicken.
The food at David’s Tea House & Hot Pot is really good. No wonder lots of people dine at this resto. Luckily, we were early so we were able to get a great seat at a comfy booth. If ever I drive by Nuvali again, I’ll definitely get those dim sums again even just for a quick bite.
Here is the set menu meals for four at David’s Tea House & Hot Pot.
