CleverBuy Affiliate Marketing Program Launch in 7th High

I had a Thursdate with CleverBuy at Seventh High, and was one of the lucky few who got invited to witness the grand launch of their affiliate marketing program. For starters, CleverBuy is an e-commerce platform that provides consumers a better way to get awesome group buying deals at discounted prices. With CleverBuy, you can get deals ranging from 50% to 90% discount slashed from the original price.

Sweet? Yeah, me thinks so too. And I am a frequent group buying customer myself, with all the foodie trips and travel adventures that I embark. Just on my recent trip to Thailand, our hotel accommodation was discounted using a group deal we scored. I can say I have saved a lot by using group buying deals.

If you are familiar with affiliate marketing, CleverBuy’s scheme is nothing new to you. But if you’ve just heard about it for the first time, don’t worry because it’s easy to understand. Basically, CleverBuy is giving its patrons an opportunity to earn on their own. Its program works using this simple mnemonics “SOPS” or “Selling Other People’s Stuff”. Well, you don’t actually go house to house selling their products. It’s more of a virtual promotion.

If you have a blog, you can simply put their banner on it and for every person that registers to CleverBuy through your site, you get a peso for it. Kind’a small? If it accumulates, like if you get 1,000 referrals, that’s Php1,000 referral credits for you.

The Party

I had an awesome time at the launch. We already had dinner when I and Basti went at 7th High but I still found the food to be good, especially the Mango Kani Salad. And the Chocolate Panna Cotta was delectable.

Open Bar started at 10PM. I tried two out of the three drinks available. Choices were Tequila Sunrise, Vodka Sprite, and Rhum Coke. I had a sip of the first two. If I wasn’t driving, I would have tried more.

Congratulations to those who won the raffle draw! How I wish I got any of those travel deals. Any of the Boracay, La Union, or Coron trip will do. Oh well, I’m just unlucky with raffle draws.
