Digital Walker Cafe in Eastwood City

Nomnom Rating : 5/5
I have known Digital Walker to be the go to store of techie people. If you’re looking for a new Canon DSLR or just the lens, Digital Walker is definitely one of the first places you’d checkout. Music buff looking for a Sennheiser headphone, Digital Walker carries them. Apple iPhone/iPod casings, they certainly have it. I remember, I even bought my Benro tripod from them about a year ago. That’s why when I saw a cafe beside it with the same, I got a bit curious..
I was curious to check it out but I was also hesitant thinking that how would a tech gadgets and accessories shop have a cafe? And if that’s possible, will it be good? I realized I wouldn’t know the answer until I try.
If you are already tired of the usual Starbucks or Coffee Bean, DW Cafe is breath of fresh caffeine.
Unlike regular cafes, DW Cafe is well-lit. The lights are really white and bright unlike the ones used in most cafes which are dim and yellow. I think it’s perfect especially if you brought a good book with you. If you didn’t bring any book, you can read the magazines on their stand.
DW Cafe doesn’t only serve hot and cold coffee because they also offer a few All-Day Breakfast choices and DW Cafe Specialties, which are mainly Japanese in nature. They have Japanese plates, Japanese pasta, and Japanese sidings.
As an avid fan of breakfast, I tried one of their All-Day Breakfast choices even if I went there at dinner. I got the Sausage and Egg (Php215) breakfast set. It’s Schublig sausage with scrambled eggs and garlic rice. It’s my perfect breakfast set.
The Sausage and Egg set actually came with a cup of Cafe Americano. But I wanted to try their frappes so I just had the Cafe Americano to go.
I got the Mudslide Espresso Frappe (Php125). Mudslide frappe is a dairy-based frappe that contains coffee (espresso for this one) and chocolate syrup. It is blended until it is smooth and it is topped with whipped cream. I like this coffee though it didn’t make me sleep early. It tasted good and it’s cheaper than other frappes from other stores.
Isabel ordered the Hazelnut Mocha Espresso Frappe (Php125). It’s also good! For me, it’s a bit sweeter than the Mudslide but I can say that its taste and smoothness is at par with my favorite frappes from other cafes.
I had a great coffee and “breakfast during dinner” time at DW Cafe. The appearance of the cafe’s interiors might be a bit intimidating but the coffee is priced reasonably. Next time I’m craving for caffeine, I am definitely considering it.
Spread some awesome..ness..
