Working for a Japanese company for two years with colleagues going back and forth Japan, I got exposed to the Rolls Royce of chocolates – Royce. I believe that is where the name came from.

At first, I was shocked of how expensive a box of Royce was but when I had its first bite, I understood why. If I could paint a picture of how I felt, it would be like that of the anime Yakitate! Japan where Kawachi-san took a bite of Azuma’s Japan (name Azuma gives to his breads), died, went to heaven, and sent back from the after life because it wasn’t his time yet.

So far, this is the chocolate that can take my soul and bring me back to life. Woot!

This isn’t my first box of Royce and definitely not my last. I remember one time when I asked my friend, Lester, to bring me back 5 boxes of different flavors because he came from Japan and it’s cheaper there. Yeah, Royce Nama has lots of flavor and Royce has lots of different chocolate variants. Some of those I love include Royce Chocolate-Covered Potato Chips and Royce Macadamia Chocolates.

Hmmm, now I am craving for those…
