Rack’s: Best Ribs in Town in SM Megamall
Duration : ~1-2 hours
Bummers : large crowd of hungry customers during rush hour
Rack’s won’t be called “Best Ribs in Town” for nothing. Even if they were the ones who tagged it to themselves, we kind’a agree that it’s true. We have dined at Rack’s a lot of times even before this blog has started. It is one of our favorites when it comes to fall-off-the-bone and melt-in-your-mouth ribs. Dip the tender meat on their in-house blend of bbq sauce and you are in ribs heaven.
Rack’s Beef Ribs cost at Php 365 (quarter rack), Php 600 (half rack), or Php 970 (full rack). You can choose the free sides that can come with your short ribs. We recommend some mashed potatoes. Ribs and potatoes are a match made in heaven.
We agreed that this rack of short ribs is one of the most beautiful things we have seen in our entire lives. And munching and gobbling these juicy ribs is the best experience.
Aside from their succulent ribs, Rack’s also has flavorful Buffalo Wings at Php 210 (3 wings) or Php 385 (6 wings). When you take a bite of the wing, there is a slight tangy taste that gives it a kick. These lovely wings come with sticks of carrots and celery, and ranch dip. We commend the angels who gave up their wings to make our mortal souls ecstatic.
Rack’s Fish and Chips (Php 320) are battered and deep-fried the way we like it – perfect. This shows that Rack’s is not only serious about meat. The fish is soft and tasty – something that’s easy to fall in love with. However, the fish is unavailable for a relationship because it already comes with large-cut fries.
End the meal with Brewed Iced Tea at Php 60 (glass), Php 90 (bottomless), or Php 145 (pitcher). The authenticity of tea leaves is found in every glass poured from our pitcher of brewed iced tea. The bittersweet taste is the best way to clean up after this hearty dinner.
Spread some awesome..ness..
