With an overnight stay at Acacia Hotel Manila, I had the chance to try Acaci’s dinner and breakfast buffet.

Once we were seated on our table, we were immediately asked what beverage we like. They offer various beverages from sodas to iced teas. They also have their signature pandan juice. They also asked us if we wanted soup. They had sinigang and mixed vegetable soup that night. I am not a soup person so I didn’t get any.

Acaci offers lots of appetizers. From cold cuts to bite-sized starters, you can certainly find one that will satisfy your palate. A few that I have tried are the tomato feta cheese, smoked salmon terine, and marinated cheese with peppercorn. They are something new to my taste buds but my taste buds loved them.

They have thinly sliced cold cuts, which provide a tasty way to start the meal. They also have a sushi bar if you want fresh slices of tuna or salmon that you can dip on soy sauce and wasabi.

At one end of the sushi and appetizers bar is the salad bar. They have different fresh veggies and dressings that you can use to make your own salad. They also have pasta salads that you can mix and match with the veggies and dressings.

There is one table in Acaci dedicated to cheese, butter, and bread. Try the different cheeses and find out which are right for your taste.

In the international cuisine area, the shrimp tempura and Hainanese chicken stand out. They also have a large slab of lamb leg at the carving station.

What you should not miss when dining at Acaci is their paella. It has lots of huge shrimps, slices of eggs, and the rice is seasoned well. You can eat it on its own and you’d still be very happy.

For desserts, you can get slices of cakes and pastries. Right beside the cakes and pastries is a station where you can create your own halo-halo. Acaci also has a chocolate fondue for chocoholics like me. Though redundant, I poured a lot of chocolate on the chocolate brownies that I got. :)

Breakfast Buffet at Acaci

Waking up at Acacia Hotel Manila really recharged us. Even after drinking a few cans of beer and a small bottle of wine, I felt energized. After enjoying the swimming pool and jacuzzi that morning, we headed to Acaci for the breakfast buffet.

You can start light with a few slices of fresh fruits. They have a wide selection of fruits like peaches, pears, lychees, watermelons, and cantaloupes. For a healthier option, don’t forget to grab that muesli.

You can pair the fruits with your own bowl of cereals. You can choose from fruit loops, corn cereals, and chocolate cereals from the dispensers. You can also choose to put all in a bowl. Pour in fresh milk. Add some nuts for an extra crunch.

Acaci also have a large selection of breads. You can also get butter and different spreads to put on your bread of choice. At the bread station, a toaster is provided in case you prefer yours warm. There is also a station where you can request the chef for a freshly-made French toast.

If you are a heavy breakfast eater like me, don’t miss the carving station. Acaci has good ham, really good especially with its sweet sauce. Also check the bacon and sausages. And don’t forget to create your own omelet. All these are perfect with a serving of garlic rice.

If you are not into coffee or tea like me, Acaci has freshly squeezed fruit juices or freshly made fruit shakes. Some of the common flavors that you can choose from are mango, pineapple, watermelon, and orange.

-Notable desserts are the moist chocolate cake and the cheesecake. A small serving goes a long way.

For breakfast buffet:

-Don’t skip the muesli. It may not look appealing but it tastes really well. And it’s healthy.

-Don’t be shy to put everything that you like when you ask the chef to make your omelet. If you are not into omelets, get a sunny-side up.

    Hi!

Just want to ask when you had breakfast buffer at Acasi.
May I also know what other dishes are available during breakfast other than those that you showed in your blog.
I would really appreciate your feedback as I am thinking of treating my family for breakfast at Acasi for my birthday this month.

    Thanks!
