A Bird’s Eye View of Singapore at the Sands Skypark
Whoever said that it’s lonely at top has never been to the Sands Skypark of Marina Bay Sands in Singapore. The Sands Skypark is outdoor observation deck at the topmost level of Marina Bay Sands. Here, you get to see the bird’s eye view of Marina and a peek of the Singapore skyline from a different angle — from a very high altitude.
Marina Bay Sands is a premier hotel, food and shopping destination, museum, and observation deck in one.
The Sands Skypark is accessible through Marina Bay Sands Hotel Tower 3 at the Porte Cochere area. It opens at 9:30 AM and closes at 10 PM (11 PM on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday). There are 3 guided tours available at 10am, 2pm, and 9pm with ticket price at SGD 20 (~Php 680).
I was able to go up the Sands Skypark with the help of a friend. Unfortunately, we went up a little late so only a part of the observation deck is still opened. Yet, it was a pretty awesome sight to see up there.
Though I was a bit scared of heights and it’s really difficult to hide that fear when you’re that up high in the air, I had to muster all my courage and pose for a shot at the Sands Skypark.
Here is a shot of me and my college friends before we went up the Sands Skypark.
