Awfully Chocolate, unlike what we know the word awfully means, is not really awful but actually awesome. Terribly awesome. This chocolate/confectioner/desserts/bake shop offers one of the best desserts I ever had in my entire life and mind you, I haven’t tasted their bestsellers yet but only the usual chocolate cake. At first, I was hesitant to try it since going in Singapore does not really involve much about try chocolate cakes and similar dessert stuff but since I was already in ION Orchard, might as well give it a try. And I don’t regret it. I would’ve regret it if I didn’t try it.

Boxes of Gigi Coffee & Cupcakes

While searching for a new dessert after having dinner in Eastwood City, me and my good friend Basti decided to pay Gigi Coffee & Cupcakes a visit. Located at the old spot of Gloria Jeans Coffee near the main entrance of Eastwood City, Gigi is a brand new cupcake house that is trying to win the hearts of the cupcake-loving market with their innovative sweet treats.

Named from the baking goddess that creates this heavenly treats on a daily basis, Gigi Gaerlan is not a newbie in this turf. If you have already come across the gooey custaroons, you have probably heard of Gigi. I haven’t tried custaroons but after having a bite of these cupcakes, I think she’s a cupcake genius.
