Max Brenner - Chocolate by the Bald Man

Max Brenner - Chocolate by the Bald Man

One Sunday afternoon, after checking out from our all-expense paid R&R at Acacia Hotel Manila, we decided to drop by Max Brenner – Chocolate by the Bald Man. This chic chocolate restobar is just a stone-throw away from Acacia Hotel Manila so paying it a visit during that time was pretty strategic. Max Brenner has been in my list of to-visit restos as it has been recommended by a good friend who loves sweets for a long time now. So, when I saw that it was just near the hotel we were staying, I knew it was the best chance to give it a try.

When we went to Max Brenner, we were still so full from our buffet breakfast from Acacia Hotel Manila. So we just tried 3 of their best-selling chocolate beverages.

I guess the love of people for Chinese dishes has opened an opportunity for Hap Chan to penetrate the Batangueño market.

Many times, I have already professed my love for Chinese food. From the hole in the wall Chinese restaurants in Binondo to my personal favorite Mann Hann and the newly-opened contemporary Chinese in P.F. Chang’s, all of these food spots are in my heart.
